Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs and the vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Grease a 9-inch pie plate. Pour the dough mixture into the dish and spread evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the pie to cool slightly before slicing.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container. Can be kept at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerated for about a week. Freezing is an option for up to 2 months.
