  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • optional chopped green onions for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Open the can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough, separating it into triangles.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point to enclose the filling.
  5. Place the rolled-up crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Feel free to substitute rotisserie chicken for cooked chicken to save time. Ensure crescent dough is at room temperature for easier rolling. Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks during baking. You can customize the filling with spinach, mushrooms, or other veggies.
