Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package 13.8 oz of pizza dough
  • 1 cup chicken pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured surface, unwrap your pizza dough and roll it out into a large rectangle. Cut the dough into 3-inch squares.
  3. Place a few pieces of chicken pepperoni and a generous spoonful of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough square. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  4. Gently pull the edges of the dough squares up over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
  5. In a small bowl, mix olive oil with grated parmesan cheese. Brush this mixture over the tops of the sealed dough bombs.
  6. Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with a side of pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For substitutions, use turkey pepperoni for a leaner option or different cheeses like cheddar or provolone. Ensure the edges are tightly sealed to avoid leaks during baking. Add chopped bell peppers, onions, or olives for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze unbaked bombs for up to 3 months.
