  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Ensure it's cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 egg for egg wash Beaten
  • to taste salt and pepper Ensure Halal compliance

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s a rectangle, about 12×18 inches.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sliced pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well!
  4. Spoon the filling evenly onto the rolled-out dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Carefully roll the dough from one end to the other, sealing in the filling as you go. Pinch the edges tightly to avoid leaks.
  6. Place the rolled bread seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
