Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground chicken You can easily find ground chicken at your local grocery store.
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs For that extra chewiness and texture.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a savory depth.
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder for your meatballs.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced For that essential flavor explosion.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped Brings freshness to the dish.
  • 1 tsp salt Enhances all the flavors.
  • 1/2 tsp pepper To taste.
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano For an aromatic touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure a nice, even cooking temperature.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano. Use your hands to combine thoroughly, but don't overmix as that can lead to tough meatballs.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter, and place them on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until they are fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
  2. Serve hot! Add them to your favorite dish or enjoy them as they are with a dipping sauce.

Notes

For a well-rounded meal, pair chicken meatballs with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad. They also blend beautifully with marinara sauce over spaghetti, or in a comforting bowl of soup. Consider adding fresh herbs or a creamy sauce to elevate the dish.
