  • 2 cups cooked macaroni Prepared according to package instructions.
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed You can use rotisserie chicken as a shortcut.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Plus more for topping.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas Optional for color and nutrition.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For topping.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cooked chicken, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, peas (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. For a crunchy topping, sprinkle breadcrumbs and additional cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve warm. Enjoy every cheesy bite!

Notes

Tip: Experiment with different cheese varieties or add colorful veggies for extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days, or frozen for longer storage. Reheat in the oven to maintain texture.
