Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and milk. Stir until smooth, then add chicken and mixed vegetables. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In another bowl, mix self-rising flour with melted butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spoon the dumpling mixture over the chicken mixture but do not entirely cover it.
Baking
- Bake the casserole for about 25-30 minutes or until dumplings are golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, use freezer-safe containers. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
