  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover roasted or rotisserie chicken for added flavor.
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded You can substitute with your favorite cheese.
  • 1 cup cooked broccoli florets Optional for added color.
  • ½ cup breadcbs For topping.
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Shred the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Mixing
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and milk.
  2. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
Layering
  1. In a greased baking dish, evenly spread the shredded chicken on the bottom.
  2. Add the cooked broccoli on top, followed by half of the shredded Swiss cheese.
  3. Pour the cream mixture over everything, ensuring all layers are covered.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese on top, followed by the breadcbs.
Baking
  1. Place the casserole in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley and serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap out Swiss cheese for other favorites or add extra vegetables for nutrition. Adjust cooking time if using frozen chicken.
