Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (any shape you prefer, like rotini or penne)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced (you can use grilled or rotisserie chicken)
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (ensure it’s halal-friendly)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Croutons for topping Crunchy and delicious

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by boiling water in a large pot and cooking your pasta according to package instructions. Aim for al dente for the best texture.
  2. If you haven't already, cook your chicken until it’s fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Shred or dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces once it’s cooled.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, and chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the Caesar dressing over the top, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Using two forks or tongs, gently toss everything together until all ingredients are well coated in the dressing.
Serving
  1. Transfer the Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad to a serving bowl. Top with croutons for that extra crunch, and relish the flavor!

Notes

To keep your Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad fresh, refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container. It’s best enjoyed within 2-3 days. If you want to freeze it, be sure to leave out the dressing and add it just before you serve it, as the pasta can become mushy once thawed. When reheating, use the microwave on low or warm it gently on the stovetop, adding a splash of water to bring moisture back into the pasta. Enjoy this salad chilled or gently warmed, depending on your preference.
