Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced Use Halal certified chicken
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
Seasonings and Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Ensure it is Halal certified
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice your chicken breast and trim the green beans. Mince garlic and ginger for easy cooking.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breast and season lightly with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, stirring for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the trimmed green beans and add the soy sauce. Stir everything together, allowing the beans to become tender yet crunchy, which should take about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Adjust the seasoning if necessary, then transfer the stir-fry to a serving platter. Optionally garnish with sesame seeds or slivers of scallions. Serve with rice or noodles.
