Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted Use ripe cherries for the best flavor.

  • 1 cup water Used to make simple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds tartness to balance the sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the cherries thoroughly and remove the pits.
Making the Simple Syrup
  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 3-5 minutes. Let it cool.
Blending

Serving

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before scooping if too hard.
