  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated.
Assemble the Base

Make the Whipped Cream
  1. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream using a hand mixer until soft peaks begin to form.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until you achieve stiff peaks.
Layer the Cream
  1. Spoon the whipped cream mixture over the graham cracker base in each cup, filling them about two-thirds full.
Top it Off
  1. Spoon a generous amount of cherry pie filling over the whipped cream layer.
Garnish and Chill
  1. Finish with fresh cherries on top for an extra touch of elegance. Chill the cups in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For substitutions, consider using crushed cookies instead of graham crackers. Avoid over-whipping cream to prevent a grainy texture. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and freeze if necessary, but be aware of texture changes upon thawing.
