- In a large mixing bowl, add the Chex cereal and set it aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and softened cream cheese. Microwave in short bursts of 20 seconds, stirring each time until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
- Stir in the cherry pie filling, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal and gently fold it in until all the pieces are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the coated cereal, then fold the mixture gently to coat all pieces thoroughly.
- Spread the mixture out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow it to cool completely so that the coating can set.
- Once cooled, store your Cherry Cheesecake Puppy Chow in an airtight container.
