Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • cup milk
  • 1 large egg
Garnish (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix them well.
  3. Gently fold in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan to the dry ingredients until they are evenly distributed.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until they’re well combined.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir until everything is well incorporated. You should have a slightly sticky dough.
  6. Using your hands, form small balls of dough (about 1 inch in size) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about an inch apart.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and slightly puffed.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, sprinkle with fresh parsley if using, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

These bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, ensure they are cooled and store in a single layer until frozen solid, then transfer to a freezer-friendly bag for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
