  • 1 packet taco seasoning (Halal compliant)
  • 1 cup cauliflower rice (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar) Works beautifully
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, crumbling the meat as it cooks.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with cauliflower rice, sour cream, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
  5. In a greased 9x9-inch baking dish, spread the beef and cauliflower mixture evenly, topping it with shredded cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before garnishing with your favorite toppings and serve hot.

Notes

Customize by substituting ground beef with turkey or chicken. Use Halal-friendly seasonings where necessary. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for 2-3 months.
