Ingredients
  

Pasta and Protein
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground turkey Can use frozen, thawed before cooking.
Cheese and Milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Mixing types for flavor variety is encouraged.
  • 1 cup milk Add more for creaminess if desired.
Vegetables and Seasoning
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in milk and Italian seasoning; bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix in cooked pasta and half of the cheese.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cover until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or garlic bread. Add chopped parsley or grated Parmesan cheese for garnish. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months. Use additional milk when reheating to maintain creaminess.
