Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Cooking
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add some olive oil and carefully place the meatballs in the pan. Pour the beef broth over the meatballs and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the meatballs and cover the skillet. Allow the cheese to melt for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with crusty bread or over noodles for a complete meal.
Notes
If you're lucky enough to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply place the meatballs in a skillet over low heat until warmed through, or you can pop them in the microwave for a quick meal. Just be sure to add a splash of broth if they seem dry.
