Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 pound ground chicken (Halal)
  • 1 cup Halal-friendly pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 package store-bought pizza dough or homemade, if you’re feeling adventurous
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For garnish (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, Halal-friendly pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough to about ½ inch thickness.
  4. Cut the dough into squares (about 4x4 inches). Place a generous amount of filling at the center of each square.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges securely.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk the egg to create an egg wash. Brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash.
Baking
  1. Arrange the rolls on a greased baking sheet, leaving space in between.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Let the rolls cool for a few minutes. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
  2. Serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
