Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, Halal-friendly pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough to about ½ inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into squares (about 4x4 inches). Place a generous amount of filling at the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges securely.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg to create an egg wash. Brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash.
Baking
- Arrange the rolls on a greased baking sheet, leaving space in between.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
- Let the rolls cool for a few minutes. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
- Serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
