Method
Cooking the Pasta
- In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Cheese Sauce
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk, cream cheese, and minced garlic. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth.
- Reduce the heat and gradually add both the cheddar and Parmesan cheese, stirring until fully melted and creamy.
Combining Ingredients
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and cheese sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Baking (optional)
- If you want an extra cheesy, bubbly topping, transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle more cheese on top, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes.
Garnishing
- Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot!
Notes
This dish can be customized by substituting chicken with turkey or using mozzarella for a meltier texture. To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat with a splash of milk if it looks dry.
