Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked rice, broccoli florets, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Add more cheese if desired.
- If you like a crunchy topping, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the cheese layer.
Cooking
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave, covering to maintain moisture.
