Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to the package instructions until tender, usually around 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Shape the tortellini mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each one for optimal crispiness.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15–20 minutes or until the tortellini are golden brown and crispy.
Serving
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a unique flavor, consider substituting with flavored tortellini. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a preheated oven to restore crispiness.
