Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits.
- Flatten each biscuit into a small circle on a clean surface, aiming for about 3-4 inches in diameter.
- In a mixing bowl, combine your shredded cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Spoon a generous amount of the cheese mixture into the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold the dough around the cheese, pinching it to seal.
- Place the cheese bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly brush the tops with olive oil or cooking spray.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Seal the biscuit dough properly to avoid any cheese leaking out. Experiment with different fillings like cooked bacon or sautéed vegetables.
