- Gather all your ingredients.
 - In a blender, add the ripe banana and coconut milk. Blend on high until smooth.
 - Add the frozen pineapple chunks and blend until fully incorporated.
 - If desired, sweeten with honey or agave syrup and the vanilla extract, then blend once more.
 - For a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend until desired consistency is reached.
 - Pour into a glass, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
 
Notes
For a complementary meal, serve with whole-grain toast topped with smashed avocado or a refreshing fruit salad. You can also freeze individual smoothie portions for later use.
