Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with ½ cup of granulated sugar, ½ cup of brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss until the apples are well-coated.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, remaining granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture becomes cbly.
Assembly
- In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the seasoned apples evenly at the bottom. Pour the caramel sauce over the apples.
- Sprinkle the cble mixture evenly over the caramel apples, then finish by scattering chopped pecans on top.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
