Preparation
- In a large bowl, add chicken thighs and pour buttermilk over them. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to a few hours for maximum tenderness.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In another bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Coating and Baking
- Remove chicken thighs from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge them in the seasoned flour mixture, coating them evenly on all sides.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray. Place coated chicken thighs on the sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serving
- Let the chicken cool for a few minutes, then serve hot.
Notes
For perfect results, do not skip the marination step and feel free to adjust seasonings to your taste.
