Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Once cooked through, add the diced onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Cooking
  1. Stir in the canned tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Combine the cooked pasta and meat sauce in a large mixing bowl. Stir until the pasta is well-coated.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese over the top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Dig in and enjoy!

You can customize the casserole with different toppings like gooey cheese or fresh herbs. This dish stores well in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days and can be frozen for 2-3 months.
