Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open both cans of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Place the dough pieces into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the marinara or pizza sauce, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, diced bell peppers, diced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well until all pieces are coated in the sauce and seasonings.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly to ensure the dough is well-distributed.
- Scatter the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and the Halal pepperoni slices evenly over the top.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Allow the casserole to cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Scoop out portions and enjoy!
Notes
Leftover casserole can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
