Preparation
- Follow the instructions on the brownie mix package to bake the brownies according to the given time. Once done, allow them to cool completely.
- In a large bowl, crumble the cooled brownies into fine pieces. Add the softened cream cheese and mix well until fully combined. The mixture should form a thick, cohesive dough.
- Using your hands, scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture and roll them into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the rolled truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Once all the truffles are rolled, place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- After the chilling period, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate to coat, allowing excess to drip off.
- Immediately roll the dipped truffles in cocoa powder or sprinkle with your favorite toppings before the chocolate hardens.
- Allow them to set at room temperature, or refrigerate to enjoy later.
