For Coating
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Melted for dipping.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder For rolling truffles.

Method

Preparation
  1. Follow the instructions on the brownie mix package to bake the brownies according to the given time. Once done, allow them to cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, crumble the cooled brownies into fine pieces. Add the softened cream cheese and mix well until fully combined. The mixture should form a thick, cohesive dough.
  3. Using your hands, scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture and roll them into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the rolled truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Once all the truffles are rolled, place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. After the chilling period, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate to coat, allowing excess to drip off.
  7. Immediately roll the dipped truffles in cocoa powder or sprinkle with your favorite toppings before the chocolate hardens.
  8. Allow them to set at room temperature, or refrigerate to enjoy later.
