Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chip cookie dough until evenly mixed.
Baking
- Layer spoonfuls of brownie batter on top of the cookie dough mixture in a greased or parchment-lined baking pan. Use a spatula to swirl them together lightly to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown but the center remains soft.
- Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then slice into squares and enjoy!
Notes
Consider using coconut oil for a dairy-free option or dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better blending. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
