Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using fresh broccoli, steam it until tender, about 3-4 minutes, then chop.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheese, milk, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread evenly, and top with additional cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Feel free to customize by adding cooked chicken or your favorite vegetables. For a cheesier experience, add more layers of cheese.
