Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toast the crumpets until golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside.
  2. In a non-stick skillet, heat the butter or oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs gently into the pan.
  3. Cook the eggs for about 3-4 minutes for sunny-side-up eggs or until the whites are fully set.
  4. Sprinkle the fried eggs with salt and pepper to enhance their flavor.
  5. Once the crumpets are toasted and the eggs are cooked, place each egg on top of a toasted crumpet.
  6. Add optional toppings such as avocado or cheese if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
