  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon Add more for stronger flavor.
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional) Adjust sweetness according to taste.
  • a pinch nutmeg (optional) For an extra warm flavor.
  • as needed cups ice cubes (optional) For a colder smoothie.

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. In your blender, add the ripe banana, almond milk, rolled oats, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup if using.
  3. If you prefer a chilled smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
  4. Blend everything on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if necessary.
  5. Taste and adjust the sweetness with more maple syrup or cinnamon as desired.
  6. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass.
  7. For an extra touch, sprinkle with a little nutmeg or drizzle with additional maple syrup on top.
