Preparation
- Rinse the limes under cold water.
- Cut the limes into quarters.
- In a blender, combine the lime wedges, sugar, and 2 cups of water. Blend until well mixed.
- Strain the mixture into a large pitcher using a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp and seeds.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of water and adjust sweetness if necessary. Serve immediately over ice.
- If desired, drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the top before serving.
Notes
Store any leftover limeade in a sealed pitcher in the refrigerator for up to three days. Best enjoyed cold. Avoid reheating.
