  • 1 cup rolled oats Use quick oats if preferred, but consistency may vary.
  • 1 cup almond milk Substitute with any milk of preference.
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries Both work well.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional for added sweetness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your rolled oats, milk, blueberries, honey/maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. In a blender, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, blueberries, honey/maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Blend the mixture on high for about 30-40 seconds or until creamy and smooth.
  4. Taste your Blueberry Blended Oats. If desired, add more honey or maple syrup and blend briefly to mix.
  5. Pour into a bowl and add toppings such as sliced almonds or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

For storing, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days; add a splash of milk when reheating. Freezer-friendly for up to a month.
