Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 bunch grapes (red or green) Fresh and crisp grapes for coating.
  • 1 package blue raspberry Starburst candies Can substitute with other fruity candy if needed.
  • as needed cups water For boiling the grapes.
  • to taste tablespoons sugar (optional) For added crunch on the candies.

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse and thoroughly dry the grapes with a paper towel to ensure the candy coating sticks well.
  2. In a small pot, bring water to a gentle boil, using enough to cover the grapes when dipped.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the blue raspberry Starburst candies and a splash of water. Heat in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Dipping
  1. With a toothpick or skewer, pick up each grape and dip it into the melted candy. Allow excess to drip off and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. If desired, sprinkle sugar over the candy-coated grapes immediately after dipping for an extra crunch.
  3. Let the grapes cool at room temperature until the candy coating hardens.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for your next family gathering.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Freezing is an option; place in a single layer on a baking sheet until frozen, then transfer to a freezer bag.
