Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Stir until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips or nuts if using.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
- Let the Blondies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once fully cooled, slice them into squares.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. For freezing, wrap tightly and store for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
