Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts Fresh, trimmed, and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For tossing the sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon salt To season the sprouts
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper To season the sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder To add flavor
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese Optional, for an extra touch of flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the Brussels sprouts under cold water, trim the base, and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves.
  2. Cut each sprout in half to help them cook evenly.
Seasoning
  1. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until nicely coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts evenly across the griddle surface.
  3. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping them occasionally for even browning.
Finishing
  1. Sprinkle on the grated Parmesan cheese for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, allowing it to melt.
  2. Remove from the griddle and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the sprouts on the griddle to maintain a crispy texture. If using frozen Brussels sprouts, note they may require a longer cooking time.
