Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup Biscoff spread
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Ensure butter is at room temperature for best mixing
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature for better incorporation
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional) Add for extra chocolate flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and sugar. Beat until light and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to your wet mixture, folding gently.
  6. Fold in the Biscoff spread and chocolate chips (if using).
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Let the brownies cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serving
  1. Once completely cooled, slice into squares and enjoy!

Notes

These brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days. For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze after wrapping individually. Reheat in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
