Ingredients
  

For the Pretzel Crust
  • 1.5 cups crushed pretzels
  • 0.5 cups sugar
  • 0.5 cups butter, melted
For the Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
For the Jello Layer
  • 6 oz strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, 1/2 cup of sugar, and melted butter. Stir until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
Cream Cheese Layer
  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  2. Fold in the Cool Whip gently until fully incorporated.
  3. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
Jello Layer
  1. In another bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in 2 cups of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
  2. Allow it to cool slightly before adding in the sliced strawberries.
Assembling the Layers
  1. Carefully pour the strawberry jello mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Serving
  1. Once set, slice it into squares, serve chilled, and watch everyone dive in for a taste!
