Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed into bite-sized pieces Ensure they are uniform for even cooking.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by washing and peeling the sweet potatoes. Cut them into uniform bite-sized cubes to ensure they cook evenly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add your cubed sweet potatoes. Drizzle the olive oil over them, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss everything together until the sweet potatoes are well-coated with the oil and seasonings.
  3. Set your air fryer to preheat at 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded. This helps with even cooking.
  2. Air fry the sweet potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure they crisp up nicely on all sides. You're looking for a golden brown color and a tender texture.
Serving
  1. Once they’re done, carefully remove the basket and transfer the sweet potatoes to a serving dish. Allow them to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Try adding a splash of cumin or cinnamon for an extra twist. Avoid using too much oil to keep them crispy. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze them for longer storage.
