Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted and cooled
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs Room temperature for better incorporation
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Sifted
  • 1 cup cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and let it cool slightly.
  4. Stir in the granulated sugar into the cooled butter until smooth.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  8. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack before slicing into squares.

Notes

For added richness, use high-quality chocolate. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
