Preparation
- Slice your beef thinly against the grain for tenderness and chop broccoli into florets.
Marination
- Combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
- In a large frying pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the broccoli for about 3 minutes until tender-crisp, then set it aside.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
Combining
- Return the broccoli to the pan, mix with the beef, and season with salt and pepper. Serve over cooked rice.
Notes
Storing: Allow leftovers to cool before storing in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently in a skillet with a splash of water or broth.
