  • 2 cups plain or Greek yogurt Can use dairy-free alternatives like coconut yogurt.
  • 1 cup granola Experiment with different flavors like cinnamon or nutty varieties.
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Use seasonal fruits for freshness; can add bananas or peaches as well.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Drizzle on top for added sweetness.
  • to taste fresh mint leaves For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the berries under cold water and pat them dry gently with a paper towel. If using strawberries, slice them into smaller pieces.
Layering the Parfaits
  1. In a clear glass or bowl, start with a layer of yogurt at the bottom – about a half cup should do.
  2. Sprinkle a generous layer of granola over the yogurt, adding the perfect crunch.
  3. Follow with a layer of mixed berries, using a combination to maximize flavor and visual appeal.
  4. Continue layering with more yogurt, then granola, and finish off with another layer of berries.
  5. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top for added sweetness.
  6. Finish with fresh mint leaves on top for a pop of color and freshness.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.

Notes

While best served fresh, leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Cover to prevent granola from getting soggy. For gatherings, keep layers separate until ready to serve.
