  • 1 lb chicken breast or beef, cubed Choose your preferred Halal-friendly protein
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Or a Halal-friendly alternative
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups vegetables (bell peppers, onions, zucchini, or your favorites), cubed

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your meat and vegetables into equal-sized cubes.
Garlic Butter
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and stir in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
Assembly
  1. Thread the cubed meat and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between the two, leaving a small gap between pieces for even cooking.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C).
  2. Place the skewers on the grill and brush them generously with the garlic butter, grilling for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with more garlic butter until the meat is fully cooked.
Serving
  1. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy the BBQ Skewers with Garlic Butter warm!

Notes

Storing: If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. To reheat, use a skillet over low heat with some garlic butter or in an oven covered with foil.
