Preparation
- Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
- For extra taste, you can marinate the chicken in half of the BBQ sauce for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
- Flip the chicken, brush with the remaining BBQ sauce, and grill for another 6-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, remove the chicken breasts from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice the chicken and serve it hot with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
Notes
Marination is key for enhanced flavor. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness and experiment with different BBQ sauces.
