Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas, mashed The riper the banana, the sweeter the ice cream.
  • 2 cups heavy cream Chilled before mixing.
  • 1 cup whole milk Chilled before mixing.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Ensure it fully dissolves during mixing.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Topping (optional)
  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Cover the bowl and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Churning
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn until it reaches soft-serve consistency, about 20-25 minutes.
Freezing
  1. Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container, sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers on top, seal, and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Serving
  1. Scoop out the ice cream and enjoy! Top with additional crushed wafers or fresh banana slices if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. To soften before serving, let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
