  • 1 cup oatmeal Use rolled oats for better texture.
  • 1 cup flour All-purpose flour can be substituted with almond or coconut flour.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar Adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of bananas.
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened) Ensure it is softened, not melted.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl using a fork until they are smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well until combined.
  4. Add the softened butter and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Use your fingertips to blend until crumbly.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer the mashed bananas evenly, then sprinkle the crumbly mixture over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
  2. Cool slightly before serving.
