- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well blended.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture for a few seconds on each side, ensuring it's well coated.
Cooking
- In a large skillet or griddle over medium heat, add a tablespoon of butter or oil. Allow it to melt and get slightly bubbly.
- Place the soaked bread slices into the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
- Once the French toast is cooked, top it with sliced bananas and mixed berries. Feel free to be generous!
- Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
