Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, and salt. Stir until you achieve a perfectly smooth mixture.
- Grease a baking dish with a little bit of oil or butter to prevent sticking. You can use ramekins or a larger baking dish, depending on your serving preference.
- Pour the yogurt mixture into the prepared baking dish, filling it gracefully.
Baking
- Place it in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes. The surface should be set, and a toothpick inserted in the middle should come out clean.
- Once done, remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
- Optionally, you can chill it in the fridge for an extra refreshing experience.
Serving
- Top with your favorite fruits, nuts, or drizzles, and serve to your delighted guests.
Notes
For a vegan option, try using plant-based yogurt and a suitable egg substitute, like a flaxseed mix. Keep an eye on your yogurt as it bakes; too long can lead to a dry texture. Ensure your ingredients are at room temperature for the best mixing results. Baked Yogurt can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in an airtight container. If freezing, do so in smaller portions to maintain texture.
