  • 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce your favorite brand or homemade
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Halal-friendly pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using frozen tortellini, cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked tortellini, pizza sauce, half of the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden on top.
Serving
  1. Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Substitutions may include other toppings like Halal-friendly sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives. Serve right out of the oven for best taste. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
